Hello, has anyone tried setting up a French Ebay and Paypal account from Aus? Wondering what would be needed to do this. Selling/payment restrictions are driving me crazy with Aus accounts..

Can we use Aus Load n Go to verify French as well?

I have few FR accounts,but I tell you its not as easy a you thought at the moment.
Yes you can use a Aus Load n Go to verify french paypal,but new french ebay accounts now can only list in ebay.fr for first 90 days of sales, and ebay.fr is sucks on sale,basicly a useless market.You sure this won't drive you crazy?

Yes, if you are trying to operate an account in a country different from your, you will have the same issues.
Some countryes are more permissives than others but basic issues like the one Green Bean pointed out cannot be ignored.

Would a solution to get money out be to 'purchase' something from one of our Aus accounts? As opposed to sending money as a gift which would be sure to link accounts. Would this method last longer than gifting the money back to ourselves?

Items I sell are low in value, hence address could be any real address in France. Appears only real roadblock is IP address. How hard is it to operate through a VPS?

I think I can get ip, bank, address sorted out for a French account.

What kind of limits do you get with eBay.fr accounts?
