How can I find cheap items that will actually sell in my country?
 

So, I am struggling to find cheap items that will sell in my country.

I am managing a few stealths now but I have quite some difficulties to make them grow.

Italy is really only mobile phone and i-something oriented.

I have try several things but sales are waaaaaaay slow.
For my personal business I'd like to sell cheap stuff at the beginning.

I am not asking you the usual question: "what can I sell to start?"

I'ld like to know if there is a reliable online service which can tell me what product is selling best on ebay.it and if there is the possibility to select a range of "price" or category (I do not want to pay a service that will tell me that the best item to sell is an iPhone6... I already know that)

To a greater or lesser extent I think you have probably given a mini description of just about western country there ilcarletto with your mobile phone and i-something oriented buyers doing an increasing percentage of the online buying.

Maybe research seasonal items, I know around this time of year sunglasses sell very well.

A few years ago I was picking up sunglasses for £1 and they were selling all day for between £3-£6. I was building accounts and making slight profit.

Also picture frames sell really well, or stationary (envelopes, cellotape etc)

Thank You just_smile for your suggestion and I guess it could work but I am actually looking for an online service with statistics if possible.

TeraPeak, my friend.

Not cheap, but do check them out.

Excellent software and you can gain access to a LOT of info on there.

Market research, category research, competitors research etc.

Works well for both EB and Amazon, although I am more experienced with EB research.

There's a 7 days free trial, too.

Terapeak will give you free access.

You should get a reasonable idea by then.

As a matter of interest, look at amazon as well.

Keep in mind Summer is coming..... think of items for that season.

Quite a few options are there when you look.

Sunglasses just_smile, you must be in the southeast!, we have almost forgotten what they are here in the north.

The service that comes to mind ilcarletto is Terapeak, have to admit I don't use it myself yet, but I know from reading other people's threads that it can work very well for those who are busy enough. No idea if it has a country by country section.

Yes, it can.

You can filter country/ EB platform/ get statistics on where most buyers are located as well as sellers for the specific research, and much more.

Try it for free, just remember, it takes a little time to REALLY make practical and efficient use of the software.

feedback for the moment... make it grow decently.

No expensive items since will use economic non traceable mail service.
