The FBI MAY crack down on sellers of counterfeit merchandise. That IS possible. But to shut down eBay or PayPal, they would need a VERY GOOD REASON, and they cannot do it just because a small percentage of people MIGHT use eBay to sell merchandise that is stolen or counterfeit.
Smaller websites are a different story. The US Justice Department routinely closes websites that infringe on copyrights and trademarks, or sell illegal items. But large businesses are not likely to suffer the same fate. | i disagree
stolen or counterfeit especialy ⊗⊗⊗⊗ replicas is 75% and especialy paintings and art and without this ebay would die out slowly
just like cash converters or pawn shops majority of them sell stolen goods brough in by customers, they accept it because otherwise they would not have anything to sell in pawn shops and would go bust
ebay and paypal are in the monopoly game thast is why they still exist, they will not allow any other websites to get up the ladder
paypal when they first started they made there millions from money laundering transfer of ilegal drug money thats how they got in, therafter banking laws got stricter but they still made it to the level of staying permanent in the market
hsbc bank also got caught transfering illegal drug money, they accepted it because its big commissions and money for them
MP and prime ministers and presidents also transfer illegal drug money but they do it in a smarter way so they wont get caught
also ther is a guy on ebay selling ⊗⊗⊗⊗ paintings in large quanity but in the title main heading he states original, if the painting is original then how come he sold so many and is selling in quantities???
it puts genuine sellers like us out of business |
