Had Ebay/com/ph Philippines original account. Used for years. Domestically list and sell for free no fees period, so I used it as a host for photos on two different accounts. Also PH account allows international sales that charges fees. So woke up this morning, suspended. Pending Limits with PayPal, called PayPal and permanent limit due to running raffle for daughters school (not wise) it was shut down in days, high risk. So this paypal at one time was used for E. and is on file with them according to C/S rep needs to be cleared and basically not going to happen. 5 hrs later everything ended and I'm no longer registered user. now I gravely depend on the sales as we all do, and as I've read here spreading them. So question is attempt to reinstate the following from E?

"After reviewing your eBay account, recent activity has raised serious security concerns. As a result, we've taken the following action on your account:
- Your eBay account has been suspended indefinitely.
- Some or all of your listings may have been removed. A list of any removed items will be listed further down in this email.

You won't be able to use eBay in any way. This includes using another existing account or registering a new account. Any outstanding selling fees are due immediately, and any amounts that you haven't previously disputed will be charged to the billing method currently on file.

We've taken this precaution to protect our members while we make sure that the activity doesn't cause harm -- however unintentionally -- to the eBay community."

Or just let it go and begin again? Also C/S rep told me the user names of the other two accounts so since they know would they be in jeopardy?

Thanks for this website as well, great reference as I've been reading for hours all the issues and battles going on just to make a buck!

I do apologize if I've posted or failed to state something, just irate over working so hard selling, shipping, to get treated the way I was, ratings where good too, but.. judging from this website moot at this point. Thanks guys look forward to any info to open another and hide from them.

Welcome to the Forum Runnynose, nothing wrong with a good rant....sometimes we need to let it out before we can move forward with a clear head.

You can fight it but it may take a loooong time and in the end...They may never give you your accounts back. So it's up to you if you want to fight.

I will say this, start making Stealths in the mean time if you do plan to get Ebay/Paypal to reinstate your account.

Yes, If you had other accounts associated with your original account, those accounts are in jeopardy of also going down.

The best advice I can give you is to write down what is required to open an Ebay/Paypal accounts along with what is required to withdraw funds and find alternatives to those if needed.

Yes, I know they might be in Jeopardy, but I'm definitely in hopes that it's the case where the left hand don't know what the right hand is doing, Meaning although they closed my domestic account I suspect for linking photos in the other accounts in the body of the description page over 2,000 listings well more to it, an old PP account that was unlinked, and upon checking when I was still a user it was back on there, no. Well two accounts all okay so far got everything crossed. During log ins I use different browsers in hopes it helps. So definitely on-top of things. Meaning to left/right hands. Philippines account and U.S. account. So thanks for the response, I see I'm not the only one going through this just to make a honest buck.

If you used Ebays services and you made money then...yes you should.

Hi guys, YES paid them this morning, and even paid what was due on next statement, don't want to appear a deadbeat. Also I hope I trackbacked correctly? Kind of new to me, apologies if wrong my 1st attempt ever.
