PayPal Limited because of Negative Balance
 

Hi,

I have an PayPal Account. Everything was going fine. But one of my buyer opened dispute, won and my balance got negative. Unfortunately I did not sell any item after that. The balance iws -170$

I want to keep this account, I asked paypal what to do some time back and they asked me to send them a check for the amount. I am ready to send it, but not sure, since its an Indian account, I can only send in Rupees, will PP accept that. So contacted them a couple of times but got no reply back, not even the confirmation mail that they have got my eMail.

I am not sure if I send them a check now, I will get my account back or not. Can someone please help me with this?

You will not get it back, as you are already flagged as unreliable. Dump it and build several new accounts.

paypal would accept a check, call them if unsure of currency, but if it is going to India paypal then why not. If you have a different country paypal eg USA, then I think it is more of a problem and a flag anyway.

how about you get some money sent to your account by someone eg. make a sale somewhere.

He wants, but it is already doomed, as so many stories around when as soon as the debt was paid, account was permanently limited.

flagged as unreliable? if it is just a debt, paying can restore it because I forgot a few over the years as I rotate accounts, and when paid, it was all restored....I am talking after a couple of months, not when it has gone to collections etc..........

we need to assume if OP wants to keep it, there is a valid reason, eg. real details or hard to get a bank account for him.........some stealthers assume all accounts are disposable, but some scenarios are different......

If real details was used it's not stealth, stealth is all about new identity and usually not real one
