Paypal ask to verify right after opening stealth acc
 

Hello,

I just opened new stealth paypal account. I have done this many times before with success, but his was the first time I opened it with VCC.
The VCC was accepted, but when I click to see the receiveng limits, I got this message:

"Please confirm your identity to avoid any service interruptions.
In compliance with the regulatory requirements in your country, we need to confirm your personal and business identity".

I am asked for identity and address prove.
The account I opened is in Bulgaria

I have 2 more VCCs so I am not sure if I should give a try to a new stealth.

Have anybody had the same problem?

Seems that it's issue with your VCC.
Maybe try some other.

Are you using VPN? If so you have strictly to log into your paypal with Bulgarian IP

The VCCs is not the proble.
I ordered new Bulgarian VPN IP from 24vc. After I opened the account,
I verified my email address. When I click on "see how much you can send with PP" in new window I get this message:
"Please confirm your identity to avoid any service interruptions.
In compliance with the regulatory requirements in your country, we need to confirm your personal and business identity."
Then I have 3 steps to verify: prove of identity and address and personal information.
I guess it is new regulative by paypal, but I am not sure id it apply in all EU countries, as I also tried a Slovenian one and same thing happen.

How can you know its NOT the VCC?
You yourself stated it is the only different thing done when opening this specific account.
You can always try opening another stealth and not use a VCC and see if it really is a new regulatory requirement or if the VCC was the cause.
Test away and let us know the results.

You are not limited.

This is the new portal for lifting the EU receiving limit. It went live on Tuesday 22nd March.

Just add your card and bank in the normal way. Once added and confirmed, the only limit you have in place on your account is the EU receiving limit. This is lifted on a stealth account by submitting proof of address and ID.

The accounts can still be used without sending in ID and proof of address.

Nothing fundamentally has changed with Paypal regarding verification and limits. They have only made changes to the website - nothing else.

The point is that I am not able to see what are my limits, unless I provide the required documentations. It simply wont let me access that page so I will not able to see how much I have received and from here I will not be able to know when I am reaching the 2500eur limits ( so I can know when I should stop listing items on ebay and withdraw my founds before I send documentation)

I know it is not VCC because I get the same message on paypal before I add any CC.

Providing the documentation will lift all limits so there won't be any in place to view. As a I have already stated if you have confimed a card / bank account, the only limit you have is the 2500 euro receiving limit.

Unless they update / change that portal, you will need to use the transaction history to keep track of money received.

I have also contacted paypal to ask if I can rum my account without sending documentations, I did this before I had your information.
It is weird that we have to calculate our self, but is much better then having to verify from the beginning.

I have found it's good option to verify your account beforehand to make it stronger and more stable in future

I haven't seen this "New Portal", maybe because I haven't opened a new acc for a while. But the "New blue" interface for Personal BG (and some regional accs) was added around Dec-Jan with the option only to add an US acc.

As for the Business PP accs - no such "blue" interface, with an optional offer to add a BG Bank acc (I mean it is NOT required!).

Of course the upfront verification usually is way better than backfront verification.

The problem is that you are not saying something maybe. You might have opened the acc through the PP/bg/ site but choosing MK as country and putting some MK address OR some random BG address (and adding a VCC not issued into the same country - which is easily checked from a BIN check site - the first 6 digits are leaking info regarding the card issuer).

I was asked the same thing and did not add a CC or bank account.
