Number to verify Italian Paypal
 

Hey everyone, I would like to know if there are any virtual phone number service or any member here on aspkin that can help me with an Italy phone number to verify a Paypal account. done a lot of googling but all my efforts have been futile :(

But what if I want to add and verify the number at the same time? someone said something about getting an Italian on fiverr to give me a number, while that might be good for the time being. What happens when I want to send funds out and PP decides to call or send a verification SMS?

Yes the long term solution would be to get a number, the verification requests usually go away after a day or so in my experience.

I assume you want a Italian paypal account becauae of the withdraw to card option? Many countries allow that, I would choose country that's easiest to get a sim.

Fiverr could be good, make a request. Buy a few in case account goes down.

You need an IT sim card. There is no internet service that provide italian numbers for receive SMS. I think i can help you.

There is no such service providing mobile phone numbers, but phone numbers accepting calls only (No SMS) do exist online.

Hi guys,
I've received message from PP that they are rolling out two authentication factors for accounts Italy (I guess this would be for all EU countries).
I've worked with this PP account for a few years and I want to keep using it in the future.

I have no access to the mobile that is now linked to PP, but I think I am able to modify the mobile number for now.

Where can I get an Italian virtual number?
It has to be registered to the PP account name?

If the service is not really reliable, I would not trust of the virtual numbers because is easy they are used already by others

No, it doesn't need to be registered on the PP account name. PP wouldn't care about it. As long as you can verify/confirm it, they will accept that.

I'm not sure if this is relevant but I have a Maltese Paypal account and was able to link a Dutch phone number a few months ago.

When I initially tried linking the phone number in Paypal's Settings page, it didn't let me add my Dutch number since it required a Maltese country code.

However, a few days later when I was making an online payment through Paypal, Paypal showed a screen which allowed me to add a phone number from any country. I was then able to add the Dutch number and it is now linked to my account.

Perhaps the same thing is possible with Italian Paypal accounts.

I have UK PP linked to Asian country phone number. No issues.
