DanielPatrick | 10-12-2016 04:06 AM | Suspended from eBay I have created a different separate account and again got suspended on eBay. I had a new name, surname, address, e-mail, IP address, computer Windows account, new mobile number (everything was different) and got suspended again. I never logged in from my old suspended Windows / eBay accounts either.
What could the reason behind this be? I'd appreciate any help given. |
ilcarletto | 10-12-2016 04:09 AM | Re: Suspended from eBay Are you operating with some kind of VPN or VPS?
What were you trying to sell on the account?
Stealth guide will definitively help in understanding your issue. |
just_smile | 10-12-2016 04:10 AM | Re: Suspended from eBay What did the suspension email say? |
DanielPatrick | 10-12-2016 04:17 AM | Re: Suspended from eBay @ilcarletto, No, I wasn't using any kind of VPN, VPS as I've managed to change to another IP address. I have read the guide. That's where I learnt all this info from. I was selling Microsoft products. @just_smile, it just said that my eBay account is suspended and nothing else.
I really don't know what could it be that went wrong. |

Re: Suspended from eBay You can but there are certain brands that are much hotter than others. Also when you have a new account you should start selling low price items |

I had started with 10 litems and listed everything, leaving 0 items left. Could it be maybe because it detected cookies on my mobile phone? I mean can cookies still be detected even though you're signed out from the eBay account?
As far as I know, you can keep using the same Name, Surname and Country for as long as you want as you can have the person with the same Name, Surname in a same country.
Could it maybe be that I have used the same listing and maybe that listing was cached in a previous account? For example, a search engine caches content from different websites and if it finds it the same from a black listed site, it will do the same thing to it again.
These are basically some thoughts that came across my mind. Someone with experience can shed a better light on this and tell me what I might be doing wrong. |
Re: Suspended from eBay You should really get the stealth guide, you started listing Microsoft products on a brand new account - that will result in almost certain account death. There are thousands of posts on here against doing that.
Cause was almost certain selling hot expensive products. It's out of character for new sellers on Ebay. |

In your case - you should not be listing these items. |
DanielPatrick | 10-12-2016 07:16 AM | Re: Suspended from eBay How about if I start listing them slowly after a month registered? |
Re: Suspended from eBay Regardless of how old your account is, and more importantly regardless of whether or not you have been successful before - selling Microsoft products is an absolute no.
Your listing may last a minute, an hour, or maybe even a day, but eventually - it will come down, and so will your account and all the hard work that went into making it.
Solution is simple, find another niche/product. |
DanielPatrick | 10-12-2016 08:04 AM | Re: Suspended from eBay I used to sell Microsoft products in the past and never had any problems. I don't know why this is happening lately. I will open a new Stealth account and leave it age a few months. Then, I'll try selling again. I mean, there are many Microsoft products that never get deleted so I don't know why now. |

DanielPatrick | 10-12-2016 08:50 AM | Re: Suspended from eBay So, how can I know which items are High Risk to sell? |
