ebay 30 days suspension
 

Hi guys

Thought, I'll put it out there, may be someone had something similar.

I was dropshipping with a perfect feedback. Than I got selling some regulated items, which I thought was allowed, later turned out I checked the wrong website. Anyway, I sold few thousands worth of it using eBay ads, before ebay removed my ads, and few days later suspended me for 3 days. :violin:

I checked government websites, realized my mistake, and found a product in the same niche, which I was allowed to sell. :en:

The niche was hot selling, so I went back to the same niche, slightly modified my titles, to appear on top of everyone who was selling forbidden product, and started selling.
One week later I am suspended for 30 days, and eBay is saying that I'm not allowed to sell this product, and sending me to the very same government website, were it is clearly stated "allowed for general retail" :violin: :coffee:

Turns out, that ebay is still using regulations from 2008, when they were updated this summer. :coffee:

Five calls and two weeks later, nothing moves for me, I just keep getting promises that I will be contacted.

I was the only person on the whole ****ing ebay to be suspended for selling this product!

The forbidden both legally and by ebay rules product is still on sale by all the sellers, who were selling it with me !

It's like I was pinpointed and taken out on purpose :noidea:

Anyone has any idea what can I do?

Keep calling them 2-3 times a day if need be, and try escalating it to a supervisor. Try and remain nice and cordial but be plenty forceful and confident at the same time. Eventually you will get someone that knows what they are doing, eventually.

I tried it today, three times. Got literally nowhere. Got a call back from a supervisor of an account team, who just said that I'll have to wait 30 days, and there's nothing they can do for me. And an account team - they just blatantly lying on the phone, creating explanations out of the air.

I'll go make my own eBay - with Blackjack!
