Suspended After Many Years
 

I want to ask the good people of aspkin your opinion on this as I know that nobody can give a definite answer.

I had been suspended on eBay like at least 6-8 years ago and I would like to make another account with nothing changed except the following. My new address, new email and paypal and bank account new ip address and cookies cleaned.

Personal information would still likely be the same. What do you think the chances of eBay allowing this is?

Chances are you have a new IP anyway so that should be cool. At the very least I'd be changing up my date of birth.

You need a new phone number, new address, new ip address, new email, new user on your computer, new PP matching info,,,,,,, and buy ebay stealth its only $20 it will help explain in detail how to stay on..... lol i remember i tried and tried and kept missing stuff just a big wast of time you could be using making money.... we all are on and making money because of the book hands down....

If you change basically everything but your name you will likely be ok after that long of a period of time. I did that myself many years ago and knock on wood but the account has been fine since 2011. I would also suggest getting and reading through the stealth guide as well. It will prepare you much better.

Can not vary name. No middle name and unfortunately no simple nicknames like Johnny for John or Alexander for Alex. I've thought about it.

It is a bit of a realitive answer on my end.

I would risk using the same name after that period of time. IF I WANTED A LEGIT ACCOUNT AND PLANNED ON ADDING TAX ID TO PAYPAL AND SELL OVER THE 20K/2,000 MARK. I was suspended in 06-07 came back in 2011. Same real name but with everything else different. Address, phone number, everything the Stealth Guide by the book. Knock on wood no issues 5 years later.

To be honest though eBay really is not the issue. It depends on what happened to your PayPal account in the past. You create eBay accounts easy the problem for US sellers it is the PayPal accounts with regards to 1099k law. If you just want to sell a few items here and there just go 100% stealth its easy. If you are a serious seller who wants to push large amounts of products do it the other way.

vogeltron does make a good point - and can change birthdate...pretty easy to deal with if you get hit with ID request or so as well...

Hi you should be ok i have done this in the past everything new part of my name however there is many people with same names surnames etc , after suspension i have set up another one with new address paypal bank account ip pc phone nr etc and it has been ok for years
