Having Trouble opening new Account - Credit Card Problem
 

Hi,

I was hoping you could help or give me some advice as I am having problems registering a credit card. I have read through the guide and done evrything but just having problems with this.

I am from the UK - have changed IP, deleted all cookies etc.

I opened a new account verfied a bogus address with a sipgate telphone number.

Now I want to open a sellers account so need to put in CC details. Everytime I type the card details in and put a bogus address it does not authorize saying the details do not match. So I tried again using my real name but leaving a few characters out of that and the real address, this still not authorise the card.

What do I need to do am I doing something wrong?? In the guide its sounds so simple! How do I register the card I will pay ebay fees from, if I use my real details they are the suspended ones so they will suspend me again. I read up on the gift card, again I would be buying this in my name, if I brought it in the bogus name & Address I used to register would it be sent their.

I hope that you can give me some advice to help.

Hello, can you just get a visa giftcard from a grocery store or drug store? Ive used one of those and it worked.

When an AVS is done on a CC, it is the numeral that are verified...not the words. this being the addres numbers, zipcode and obviously the card numbers themselves. the rest can be bogus.

Ok so does this mean that as long as I put the correct postcode door number and credit card numbers this should be fine.

I tried putting a card in my name ( not used on ebay before) on with a different name and the address just slightly changed but this did not work!

i did the same thing, i got my real credit card info, brand new credit card of course and it isnt prepaid, and registered on ebay with only my middle and last name and everything going well.
