Account limited right away
 

Hello, I created a new account on eBay and got limited right after trying to list an item, here's what I did.

Bought a fresh cheap phone and sim, used the mobile data to access eBay and create account.

Used an address located in same area of sim IP.

Verified number using sim.

Now when I went to list an item I was taken to a page and asked for either my card details, bank account or PayPal, I think this was for selling fees if I can remember correctly? So I added my vcc in the card details part clicked confirm, which took me back to my listing, which I then clicked list item. Then I got a popup saying I have reached my selling limit for this month.

What did I do wrong? Was it the vcc part?

What vcc did you use?

Your selling limits are 0/0?

Sounds like a 0/0 limit as opposed to a limitation.

Agree, sounds like a 0/0 selling allowance, not a limitation.

Also, if you used a crap cheap vcc then that did not help.

Yep, did you add the vcc to paypal?
You need a vcc on uk paypal to sell so in the future, add vcc to paypal before you list.

Does not guarantee you wont get 0/0 selling allowance, but that is how uk system works...... you need to add vcc to paypal to sell on eb.

Bit of a crap explanation but I am buzzing hard :)

I would guess you may have used entropay?

All you need to do is talk to eBay in the chat. They will sometimes increase the limit to 10 items. They will need to see a verified PayPal linked to your eBay most of the time before they do that though

I used a vcc that I bought on here from the seller makerviet. Are entropay accounts no good to use? As I wasn't sure if I could use one. So I use the vcc in PayPal first, then use the PayPal for the selling fees. I'll give that ago.

At the moment Entropay is causing a lot of limitations on PayPal accounts so best to use something else.

I was the first one to give the alarm on Entropay. Nobody back then listened....

One person having an issue with Entropay isn't really an issue

When 20/30 people start to have an issue then it becomes more of a concern

Loads of people have one off issues when everyone else has no issues.

Yes at this moment entropay is not good to use
someone knows good vcc

Speak to sellers on marketplace?

Suggest getting someone on here that can get you a visa vcc
