Yea, that would be best. This way neither one of them has to worry about it...The new owner can just ADD accounts and it would look much more legit to Ebay/PP when he is not deleting the old info.... Easy transition and all possible if this high feedback is that important to Arminzoll.

The good thing is that it is local account, many more people move local from one place to another than they change states or countries, so IP being a little different will be ok since it is in the same general area. But I see why Arminzoll wants high feedback account selling high-end things. No limitations. I wish I had one like that...I have to build my feedback on expensive stuff at a snail peace, and it hurts, and it takes forever.:pry:

^^^^ The OP is asking far too many different questions for any of us here to give an answer that will allow his account to work.

Please be careful with answers. The poor guy could really really get in trouble with ebay/paypal.:peace:

Agreed, the only really safe way is the Stealth way.

can anyone tell me if I would be better off just using a merchant account then a paypal account, since the account is from 2006 I do not need to fax in the merchant account information. But would it raise flags if I don't offer the paypal option to my buyers....

Lyda 04-06-2009 11:59 AM

You can use Merchant and offer PayPal too. Some Merchants have PayPal as option to pay, but if not you can use Cartmanager as a buffer and connect your old PayPal to it. So, yes, you can accept PayPal. The only problem is Vero and items where Ebay wants you to use your registered/linked PayPal account. I hope I am correct on all this, if not, please someone correct me..........:typing:

how does teh cartmanager work, can I use the paypal account that I was using with my suspended ebay account and not get linked with it?

yaw1800 04-06-2009 02:15 PM

yea you can use that paypal with cartmanager as a buffer in between

arminzol 04-06-2009 02:50 PM

with cartmanager can I then check off Paypal as a payment option for my listing or it would still be just Merchant account for payment option for buyers?
