After 1 year, Im about to fax EBAY to get my account back

PROBLEM: I moved 3 years ago, and I dont know if the current ebay registered address is my old one or my new.
They say you should prove that you moved if you did so. Since you can't log in and see your current address, I will asume they have my old, so;

1-What is the official paperwork procedure to prove them that you moved, what to include in the note?

2-Do you have any tip to set up the documents to fax, in order to increase the chance of being reinstated?

Wish me luck!!

Was your account blocked or suspended?

Suspended,

"INV NOTICE: eBay Registration Suspension - User x is Linked to a Suspended User"

the other user was a brand new account that infringed copyright, and was linked to my main ebay acc.

they replied many times that until I dont lift suspension from the problematic account (the new one that linked the other) the main acc. could not be reinstated.

However this times they replied sending a link to the reinstatement form, so I asume that means giving me 1 shot...

what do you say, any chance of having a linked main acc. back while the problem account is still unresolved?

thanks so much

The reason I asked, a friend who was out of country for years and than came back had an old buyers account and when after all this time tried to sign in, it said "This account is now blocked". She couldn't think of the reason why since all purchases were paid for and received long ago. I don't know why would Ebay say "Blocked", could it be a lesser form of suspension with better chances for reinstatement? Do you think this can be valuable account because it is like 2003 account, even thoug not selle's account? Well, we sent email to Ebay, so we'll see what they say...:ranger:

If I don't pay the fees on my stealth accounts, they say blocked when I try to log in. I also think it lesser form of suspension. Your just blocked until you pay your fees but I'm not sure why a buyer account would say that.

Exactly right! Buyer's account would not have Ebay fees...We'll see when they respond. They say we would get response within 48 hours.

So is it actually possible to recover an indefinately suspended account? I thought once your account was hit with a MC199 (indefinate suspension!) that it's gone for good, which my main account was hit with recently. If I wait many months, and beg eBay to get this back, is there a chance? That would be sweet!

Each and every suspended account is different. Most hard to say if a request to be allowed to sell again would be approved.

The thread was diverted off the original topic with that blocked/suspended thing. I hadn't that concern.

I still need tips on faxing ebay, and with the note about having moved from previous location.

jtaverner: the indifinate suspension hit the newer account, the main account was hit by the "linked to.." email. I want THAT acc back.

My main concern is, without trying to lift the little account suspension (they won't give that acc. back), I can succeed with having the older main acc reinstated. ?

Anyone had the experience..?

Thanks,
X-D
