ShipStation account linking possibility, 5 accounts closed
 

Hey guys want to apologize right away for basically a repost, I had posted at first in the wrong section. But I also realized my title didn't explain anything in the previous post.

I have recently had a suspicious amount of my accounts under review or closed. From my long while in this business I haven't had anything close to this happen.

The only big difference is this time around after a lot of debating and caution I opted to use ShipStation for all my accounts.

Also I have had the largest volume of sales ever before so this could definitely be a factor as I sell high risk items.

I use separate user accounts on two laptops, each account has it's own 24vc vpn. All ShipStation tokens were accessed first login via those separate accounts.

The only loose egg I can even begin to think is that I used one shipping and return address, I had previously read this was okay but was slightly suspicious myself. I didn't do multiple warehouses or any of that. Could this be the problem?

None of the accounts that got closed or review mentioned anything about linking or any of that. It was all different issues. The only truly suspicious ones were 2 fairly new Amazon accounts that got review out of no where, and one Bonanza account that got straight up closed after getting a large volume of sales in one day with no warning, no explanation.

The one Amazon account did ask me how I manage my inventory, I don't suppose that is related to shipstation?

One shipping address and return address? In your other thread you described that as "my own".

If this is the case , was that address previously suspended?
Was it a residential address

Each account has a different address in system and on registration. But with ShipStation the labels I had made through stamps had my residential address. I could see how this could be the problem, I had read before that if you use a thirdparty shipping service such as stamps eBay is not seeing the address information.

update: no I have not had any accounts on that address suspended, had a long running account. Only 2 days ago I have had paypal under review that was on this address.

update 2: realizing my mistake here, changing all my addresses on shipstation. sadly it might be a bit late now.

Not related to Shipstation at all. I have been using it for years on many accounts: ebay, amazon and never had an issue.

I also use the same address for returns. I dont know if eBay sees it but I doubt it and I do check from time to time with Shipstation if it is still OK to use multiple accounts to which they say that ebay only sees their IP.

For you guys using shipstation, would having generic but same SKU's on various accs raise suspicion (ex. iphone_white, hat_red )? I want to have SS automate the shipping types for specific items and track inventory.

I make a few clicks and every order from all ebay and amazon accounts get printed. My shipping staff literally can handle 2000 orders in a couple hours orf packaging compared to a full day of just printing labels one by one.

It gives you one organized place for your orders from your various stores.
Makes tracking orders, buyers, returns, shipping extremely easy. You can automate A LOT. What used to take me 2 hours to go through all my accounts to print out 40 orders now takes me 10 minutes max. Returns used to be a pain too, now it's one click.

Yankee, do you have the same SKU's on your items on the different accounts so you can organize them within shipstation?

I do not think the same SKUs would cause a problem, but I would vary them slightly just to be safe.

If I have the same item listed on 2 different accounts, I vary the sku slightly just to be extra safe.

However I have had the same sku across many different accounts, just not listed at the same time.
