Juicyas | 04-02-2009 09:22 AM | MC019 company report or competitor report Am I right to assume that if the wording is
>
Why did we remove your listing?
Trademark infringement is unlawful and breaches eBay's policies. A trademark is a unique sign (such as a name, word, phrase, logo, or symbol) that a company uses to identify its products and/or services.
>
That a competitor has reported your listings (or a buyer I suppose)
Compared to if the mail says
>
because XXXXXXXXXXXX reported it to us for violating their intellectual property rights. When eBay is notified by a rights owner of an intellectual property rights infringement, eBay must remove the item in order to meet certain legal requirements.
>
When it's obvious that company has reported you?
I had a couple of my listings taken down (very random selection - not sure why those and not others) and I did a check of completed listings and noticed a couple of competitors had the same happen (1 enough to take their accounts down I think)
I assume it's just another seller trying to get rid of us as there are a couple of sellers selling the same items (from the same supplier) who have gone untouched and in fact have more listings listed so more obvious to anyone searching. |
