what has ip address got to do with reinstatement of old account. Unless you mean keeping a different ip from any other accounts you are currently using or making..

The only way is to fill reinstement form and fax it or whatever, give them the info they ask for, and wait, do not wait too long though, make new accounts, properly if the dont reply favourably within 3 weeks, it depends heavily on your infringement upon whether you are reinstated, plus i wouldnt bother appealing anything other that a 7 or 30 day ban.

Would they still reinstate your account after a year, even though this account was already reinstated once, but the second suspension was completely a mistake. Would they still reinstate my account?

I got suspended last december for my shipping DSR being low, I recently went to the library and logged into that account and looked at the FB, all of the DSR stars are gone, I want to appeal it now I think I can get reinstated, but the paypal that I used with the suspended account I still use from time to time with my new paypal to send money so I can use my debit card, If they start looking at my suspended account is it possible that they can find that and get my new 1, I have had in going for like 6 months and I really dont want to start over if they dont reinstate?? tristen - using a paypal linked to an old ebay with your new ebay is a link anyway, it will probably go down, but if you are doing well on new account leave old one alone and carry on - in future though keep ebay and paypal pairings unique and seperate form others.

ISO. you can try reinstatement if you want, my personal opinion is that when your year suspension comes around you should have already been on your new accounts for 11 months and ignore old account...
