Vero notice for Used item?
 

Hi there

I am having an issue with Vero and wanted to ask for your help.

I have had 1 listing removed for trademark vero notice. This item is genuine item its just used. Each item I sell is individual and different.
I have another 50 similar items listed but each item is individual on this account but the same brand.

Would you suggest cancelling these listings to save the account for any further scrutiny as I would still like to sell on it.

On another note to do with the Vero Notice. The email was sent from ebay.com with links to ebay.com for vero info etc. However I have never listed directly on eBay.com and only on eBay.co.uk. (Only thing I can think of is the brand is American)

What do you suggest the best option to make sure I can still sell on this account? Does cancelling this many listings affect my account seller status? If I am to cancel listings do you suggest doing a few every say couple of hours to avoid too much attention from eBay?

Some of the items are quite old. I use all my own photos. The email says it was taken down as was reported as Counterfeit from the rights owner but at the bottom of the email it says it was taken down for violating intellectual property.

Don't be sorry about asking questions that are going to help you keep your account.

Better to ask than ignore stuff and then have a complete disaster.

I would suggest removing the items for the time being.

I have to wonder if the way you listed caused the issues?

Thank you for the fast response.

I list using garage sale and only list around 30 at a time and the account is 9 months old with 150+ feedback. The items are one offs so to speak as in I have only one of the item as they are all different. The listings have been up for at least 30 days and only 1 has been taken down as of last night with another 50 left.

Will cancelling the listings affect my seller rating or is there a way to do this without affecting my seller rating as I would like to save this account? Would it be suspicious to cancel them all today and draw unnecessary eyes from eBay to my stealth account. Although I understand there is no guarantee in this case.

Yes I have 5 accounts but no back ups. I will be making back ups today after this.

How should I cancel the listings that may be an issue as I have 200 listed and 50 need taking down ( or it would be wise to take down from the advise from you guys :) ).

As in without affecting my seller rating or is that account just done for for a year until the defects disappear?

I have removed the listings as per the advice so hopefully I wont have any retrospective vero notices for the ended items. Thanks for the advice :)

Agreed, if your account has been flagged, best to let it cool off. Glad to see you are thinking ahead and making multiple backups

You are doing the right thing, OP. Kill off the listings, and from my experience, if any other listings were tagged you'll know in 48 hours if there was a server delay.

It really sucks that legit items get judged my non-human decision making.

I got vero'd and now I cant sell in a specific category which really sucks as it was my main account and main seller :(

If you insist on selling this problematic thing - pop up an army of stealth accounts and start over.
