will my account get reinstated after making payment?
 

Hey Guys,

My account was suspended couple of weeks ago for selling vero items. i received 2 trademark violations on items listed within 24hrs. They took half of my listings down, gave a me a trademark violation then they took the other half down a day later and gave me a second trademark violation and got suspended. I contact ebay about this but they wont reinstate my account. i already moved on to another account. so today i got an email from ebay: MC187 NOTICE: eBay Registration Reinstatement: Payment of Balance Due.......... asking for me to pay my ebay fees which isnt that much, about 30 dollars or so. does this mean ebay will reinstate account if i pay the fee?

I got this same email. The problem is they owe me $9.52 and its impossible to make a payment.

yeah, funny, i just got the same email today, saying they will reinstate one of my suspended account if i paid the balance...but funny thing is i am OWED $30.

Hi guys, I GOT THE MC187 today after 1 month of faxing reinstatement stuff.

They also OWE me about 50$ - weird let's keep in touch we are all in the same boat...

anyone else? Im crossing fingers for another reinstatement e-mail..

my account still shows as narued, but didnt try to log in yet...

Kilole so in your case you did NOT fax any reinstatement documents?

got the e-mail (Date: Fri, 01 May 2009 15:24:56 ) - faxed them 1 month ago exactly

when i tried looking for it, all i could find was to email and call them, actually when it came to the suspension topic the call option disappeared lol

Cachufleta, i didnt fax in anything. after i got limited i just emailed ebay asking for a reinstatement. I signed in on the suspended account yesterday but its still suspended so i went ahead and talked to a representative on ebay live, she told me the suspension wont be removed if the fee is paid. she claimed the notice was to lift my the suspension for nonpayment of ebay fee....... but i never got suspended for non payment in the first place

I have a account that was suspended and I am owed 42 dollars I got the same reinstatement email on May 1. This account has my original information. and was suspended in 2005.


I am curious to known if someone gets there account reinstated.

^^^^well if your account got suspended because you didn't pay the fees they will reinstate it but if you got suspended for a different reason and then didn't pay your fees and got this notice they will not reinstate your account.

That happened to my account the very first time, I was suspended for selling software without hardware.. They sent me the email asking for copies of my info and ask me to pay my fees before I can get reinstated.. I waited, waited to only here that my account was going to stay closed :( There just a bunch of liars!! They want your info so they can blacklist it maybe...

Yeah unless you didnt pay ur fees, you wont get reinstated. I lost $50 this way!

How low can eBay go??? Sending out these MC187 NOTICE: eBay Registration Reinstatement: Payment of Balance Due notices to make suspended members think that there is a chance of getting back on eBay is cruel. They are the absolute lowest. As soon as I am suspended from an account I close the bank account and the PAYPAL account if I don't have funds in it. Good luck getting their $9.56 from me for my eBay fees. I owe $156.00 on one though. No more bank account and no more PAYPAL account. Good luck to them.

^^^Well said. ebay hints that paying fees will mean reinstatement. THis does not always happen.:pout:
