Old items vs new items..
 

Looking at closing down my existing ebay and starting again unfortunately.

I have a considerable amount of individual items live, how do I go about getting rid of them.

As I can't manually close down my ebay, if I start up a new ebay and list items won't they both pop up?

Does ebay have powers to spot similar items being uploaded?

Any advice on this area be appreciated.

It depends.

You can always try and take new photos, use different angles or even add some graphics to the listing so it all looks a little different.

I don't know what you are selling, so its hard to tell.

For example, if you are selling one off items that have serial numbers on them for example and the market is not THAT big for them, then its quite easy for even buyers to see that its exactly the same item, just from a different buyer.

Get creative with it, whats the worst that can happen?

Yeah I have a few ideas on that one. Plus can rotate old and new stock.

Do you know how long it will be before ebay pull the plug on old account? And it all disappears?
