eBay business Account Restricted 7days, Can i use an old account safely ?
 

Hi,
My business account (1.5year old) has been recently restricted for 7 days. (miscategorized)
When eBay start to track down second account ? (after an indeterminate ban or after first restriction) ?
My first option is to build a new account, with new name new paypal (but same ip) would it be instant or a potantial ban ?
My second option is : can i use an old personnal account the only thing they share is the name of the account is the same name of my actual paypal account and the IP. (Not the address, phones, e-mail address...)

Hi, welcome to the forum.

In stealth you should never use old infos, need to change everything IP included... why is not an option for you? There are many ways to get a proper IP for stealth.

I don't want to have to worry about getting caught by eBay or anything. (Just for my peace of mind)

If only one single detail was shared id say its not an issue but you got the name being shared and more importantly - the IP address.
Dont do it or the accounts will be linked and suspended.
Start over fresh and open several accounts to avoid getting into this sort of situation again. Just be sure to employ all proper stealth principles and procedures to avoid getting any of them linked.
