Old Ebay account Suspended
 

Just logged into an old Ebay account which was working when I left it (about 18 months ago). I left the country for awhile and just forgot about it. (I actually think I left everything I was sellling in Vacation Mode). I logged in with the IP address of my phone and discovered I have been suspended for not paying $75.00 fees? (Before I left I paid off the account so I thought everything was going to be great when I came back.)

Question is Since it was an stealth like account (⊗⊗⊗⊗ everything) Ebay Money collects) can't find me. Wondering if I pay the $75.00 will Ebay let me sell again or is this account just screwed.

Contact eBay and find out. Explain you were on vacation / out of the country.

Whether they'll reinstate you or not after you pay, that's another question.

P.S. if your running multiple accounts, always a good idea to keep an eye on your emails to ensure your on hand if your accounts ever require your attention.

Anyone know If ebay would let me sell again on this account if I paid the $75.00?

The only way to find out is to ring them. No one can tell you otherwise.

Just explain you were away for a while and the account was dormant. You did not know about the $75 charge until now.

If all that happened was you owed $75, the answer is probably yes.

I've had this kind of thing happen, and after I payed the past due, even if it was so long it was written off, the account came back on within a few minutes.

You don't need to call, if you do they'll just lie to you anyway to get you to pay and who once they look over the account who knows what they'll do, go to the last email they sent in your EB inbox and click 'pay bill' or whatever it says and pay it.

In any case, if you owe it you should pay it.

Seriously, it's not very much money. It's not like you're talking 5K, $75 isn't all that much of a risk.

By the time you get a new phone number and bank account and set up a new EB & PP it will cost you $75 in time, money and energy.
