After 3 years in new house....

Could I set up a new account to replace banned one? Banned one was at old addresss.

Would use new email, bank account and PayPal. Small detail but my surname has an apostrophe so could set up new one without this (old one had it).

I think the only link that it was still me would be dob but do they ask for this?

In the last 3 years I have been selling on friends accounts and have sold about 3000 items with 100% fab and top rated status, but do not think this would be taken into account.

Thanks for your help!

How are you going to get away when PayPal request your photo ID to remove £1900 receiving limit?

Hi there. Thanks for replying. Would the link be name (with or without apostraphe) and DOB? (Am guessing name alone is not enough) Do they def ask for photo ID And is there any way of getting round this?

Yes, correct. You can use any account without having to provide documents until you reach the receiving limits.

After that, you are required to submit documents.

Go to the marketplace and you may find members who deal with these kind of things for a small fee.

You can also open multiple stealth accounts and use them under their receiving limits and you normally won't be asked to provide documents.

Finally, it's much better if you just start with a new name and DOB.

Once you pass £1650, you trigger the request for documents. The account becomes limited when you hit the annual amount of 2500 euro (GBP equivalent currently just under £2200).

You need to stay under £1650 per year to avoid the document request.

Thanks - am pretty sure I could stay under that level. I could a
So purchase a stealth account, presumably, to sell more if needed

Do you think eBay/PayPal definitely have my DOB on record? I cannot remember giving it to them.

It really depends how the accounts were created.

Ebay doesn't ask for date of birth.

Depending on how you created the Paypal account, you may not have given them your date of birth either.

If you signed up for Paypal directly on the Paypal website, you will have stated a date of birth. If you signed up for Paypal by clicking one of the links on ebay then it is possible that you didn't give a date of birth. The sign up pages also change fairly frequently, so when you created the accounts may also have an impact.

Thank you. It was 15 years ago (time flies!). I guess there is no way to be sure, since it was so long ago and they don't show DOB anywhere in account settings. Possibly not, though. I really appreciate your help - thank you.

Just give them a different birthday than yours. Be sure to write it down. You'll probably never see or hear about it again.

.

I don't recommend opening multiple EU accounts. It's pointless. You can't benefit of an account until you received maybe 2000-3000$ in a month without getting it limited.

EU limit = 2500 euro only... so you will get holds and limitations ... many of them!

You need to sell around 30 000 to 50 000 euro to make a "normal" paycheck in UK. Right? So buddy ... You can also try

1. Setup a USA/Canadian account... if you can withdraw...
2. Setup an UK account for buying...you can lift the buying limit just by verifying your card.

You only need to find a good solution to find be able to withdraw from USA accounts.

USA accounts = limit 20 000 / and 200 items per year.
others are better... like Canada = no limits per example.

You just need to find a good way to be able to withdraw those money.

Canada does have limits so not the best idea to spread the notion that Canada is like candy

Such poor advice to give anyone in the EU.

what, when that happen, canada having no limits?

dallis 06-22-2017 05:59 PM

Re: After 3 years in new house....

Well, the obvious answer is 20 accounts at 1600 per.

Or perhaps there's a workaround by opening a business and getting the EU version of a taxpayer ID such as an EIN.

It's hard to imagine 300 million people have to provide a picture ID to PP in the EU.
