Trading with an old ebay account after suspension
 

hi guys
I was banned from ebay 5 month ago because i opened a new account and started drop shipping brands from amazon in the first day.
stupid, yes. but i didnt know anything back then
My question is this - can i use an old account that i have in order to start selling?
i will take it slow and by the "rules" ofcourse, but can ebay be "on to me" if i use an old account (same name on the cc and pay pal, but different bank account cc, paypal accounts and ip)
should i change my name on the account, or they could see my old name?

Info on an EB or PP account is forever. Changing it doesn't change the historical data.

If the name on the accounts is the same, or if any identifying information is the same, it's toast.

If Ebay actually banned you then yea.. its a wrap on yer old info. If it was PP and not Ebay, you can do the switcheroo.. but eventually they can link you an offending ebay ID #.. usually during manual review.

I see that you are committed to making this work for you, so I'm strongly recommending you to get the ebay stealth guide. You can click that on the link below in my signature.

Reason being, there's so much going into it that you have to not just know how to do them, but you have to do them in order. And this is just creating a strong account.

Then you have to learn how to maintain them.

Honestly, its just best to start fresh. There is no point using an old account which may cause issues in the future. Take everything you have learned, and the advice left here. Start as you mean to go on.

That's what I would do personally.
