1 Ebay Account Closed, Other Allowed to Sell
 

Hi,

So 1 ebay account was closed last year.

They are still allowing me to sell on my 2nd account.

They know the other account is closed.

It is linked.

They closed 3 other small accounts.

But have allowed me to sell and keep my store on my main account.
Limits are quite high on this account.

I was also just able to open a new store as well this week. They uped my limits as it was attached to my main store. And they also mentioned the user name of the account that was closed. They did not mention that is was closed. But earlier this week when I phones in they were aware I was the owner of closed account.

Account was closed over a year ago.

Half year back a rep said that they would not close this account.
However, when I checked on the smaller accounts that were closed, a different rep said they were closed because they were attached.

Any thoughts?
Is this normal?
Happened to other people?

Was your first account restricted or suspended before it was "closed"?

They like you but dont like how you handles multiple accounts.

I would be grateful that you have this account and work on stealth tactics to open up new accounts.

The old accounts are linked, so that is all that matters now. Forget them and move on would be my suggestion. Guessing why ebay does things can and will be a lifetime event.

Very interesting as all things are not set in stone.

Yes greatfull and accept your advice, and will do.

Interesting as the first rep a year ago, said its separate account so its all good.

Then this rep, said other accounts were linked so they closed them.

However, opened new account this week. And it was linked. However it has not been closed.

We will see what happens.
I shall also open another stealth. :)=}

All this linking is making me nervous.

I highly recommend you read the ebay stealth and actually follow it religiously.

It'll really save you a lot of hassle.
