ebay identifying person using vpn- vpn use good or bad?
 

Still trying to figure all of this out. Bought a vpn account because I had my paypal limited but not my ebay account. But I can't buy anything on ebay because I can't pay for anything because everything funnels through paypal. All my credit cards get denied when I try to check out, but I get marketing emails every few days from ebay asking me to buy various things. I suppose that I'll have to buy a paypal account . But, I'm still working on trying to make a new ebay account that wont' get shut down. Will using my same pc or iPhone and using a vpn while setting up a new ebay account, using an alias, be enough to hide me? Does Ebay detect the vpn and look extra hard at everybody coming in on a vpn? Can I change cities while using the vpn and not get extra hard looks from ebay and or paypal? Does ebay care if my vpn shows that I'm in Seattle but my mailing address is in Maryland? Does paypal ? If anybody knows, PLEASE give me some help!

wow , so many variables that you have described. trial and error is the only answer, especially for such costly answers. Whilst this forums members are helpful overall, i highly doubt any one who has worked their socks off, lost hundreds of dollars trying and erroring, would answer such a question with priceless answers. have you read the guide?

Understatement of the week. I suggest EVERYONE does. I've been on this site for 8+ years in one way or another, and had VIP access 99% of that time. TOTALLY worth it, even for pros.
