Use the same prepaid visa on paypal as ebay
 

Hi, I'm a long time lurker on these forums and have learn quite a bit. I signed up for another eBay and PayPal account after being banned on my old one and I used a prepaid visa card so I could skip phone verification. That account lasted about a week and is now banned. None of the information I used was the same as my banned account and the address was in a different city. I had the visa card linked to paypal which was linked to my eBay to pay fees but I was wondering if I could link the visa card straight to a new ebay account. would i get detected? I'm guessing the answer is yes.

Okay this is what I did.

1. I turned off my modem and left it for 10 minutes and then my IP address was changed
2. I made a new account on my iMac
3. I made a new gmail account (using my real name)
4. I made an eBay account using a ⊗⊗⊗⊗ name ⊗⊗⊗⊗ address (in a nearby city)
5. I made a new PP account using that same information
6. I put a $50 prepaid visa card on the PayPal account and I linked the eBay account to it to pay fees so I did not need to do phone verification ( I had a mobile number on the accounts)

I thinking of trying again using my netbook. Any suggestions? what did I do wrong?

Must be cookies and flash cookies that linked you. Did you create separate window users, cause that would be safe re cookies. Why did you use real name on gmail? It would be safer to use the one you have on Ebay/PP accounts...

No flash cookies and cookies are kept separate per user account. There must be another way you were linked.

Any ideas what that might be? I read eBay Stealth and I did everything correctly (I think). I'm going to try again but this time use a different computer.

EDIT: within 24hrs I had about 10 items listed, worth over $100 each, would that be the problem?

That is to much to fast for a new account. That could definitely cause a suspension. What was the suspension reason?

It was one of those ''Under clause 9 in the eBay license agreement we will ban users if we are unable to verify the information they have given us'' something like that. I knew I shouldn't of listed that much that quickly but you know how it is. I just signed up for a new eBay account on another computer, my IP is changed but I haven't added a pre paid visa card to it yet. I think I will let this account sit for a few days before I list anything like the guide says.

I also had a trademark violation, so thats probably part of the reason aswell.
