EBAY account and 24C

Hi, I have a few questions. I have a second eBay account that I have been running from the library for the past year. I want to bring the operation back to my home. At my home I have my old eBay suspended account as my buyer account. My plan is to

1. create a second user account on my PC
2. On the second user account buy 24VC VPN and use it so my IP address from my selling account will be different from the suspended account
3. Use firefox on the seller account and keep cookies enabled so that eBay can see I have logged in there before.

Am i missing anything or is this a good plan going forward?

a simple mifi or phone tethering will also be feasible with no chance of IP linking to your broadband at home. You can get it all done today with no money out of pocket if you use your phone for IP.

Thanks, not to familiar with the phone tethering. I don't use my iphone as a hotspot.

It is simply using your phone as a hotspot. Turn on bluetooth and hotspot and connect. Same for a Mifi.

thanks I just set that up, do i connect to it via my tablet? If so how does this mask IP?

No need to mask the IP. You simply dont want to be using the same IP as your other account.

ok, but no matter what device I use the the verizon router IP address shows up when I ask what is my ip

Turn the WIFI OFF on your hotspot. Use your phone data.

Wow that's amazing! I get an entirely different IP address. How is the iphone doing that? I guess the only issue i have is that it is hard to list things on ebay thru the phone. You are suggesting i use the phone for ebay, correct?

connect your computer or whatever you are using for ebay to your hotspot via bluetooth and dont use your broadband. Take the step of unplugging it from your PC if needed.

If you are using your tablet for ebay, then connect to your phone for internet.

excellent! thanks, I just physically plugged my phone into the PC and received the new IP address. So I guess that's what I need to do. I wish I could connect to it without physically connecting (because I only have two USB ports) but this is a big step. Thanks for you assistance.

Glad you are able to move forward today. If you have not read the stealth guide, you may want to. The basics and how simply they are explained are extremely valuable. Then use this forum and other research to fine tune your skills and techniques.

Cell Phone tethering is definitely a winner. Why did you mention to turn the Bluetooth on, though?

I connect via bluetooth. Never have connected via cable.

Brew, your plan sounds pretty good.

Just to be sure, read the entire stealth guide, just incase you miss anything.
Specially after putting all your time and effort into it.

Yes, I plan to rent a subscription once I get back to work again, in between jobs right now, but ebay and amazon are helping to get me by. So far the tethering has worked. I also ordered a USB port that has 4 USB connectors so that I can used my keyboard mouse printer and phone together.

Well, I don't do either. That's the concept of a wi-fi hotpost. Wi-Fi. I've never heard of using BT to use your phone to connect another device to the internet
