eBay reinstated but Paypal limited.
 

This year was quite trippy. Had ebay suspended for 4 years then got it reinstated this year. Then paypal this year got limited (17 years of paypal and 18 years ebay)

My question. So i'm using authorize.net for ebay (luckily they accept some other payment gateway beside paypal or i was screwed more)

Do i need to worry that my paypal is limited while ebay is good standing?

I know ebay and paypal was one unit but separate company now.

Should I worry about ip etc..?

Yes the pp can still be limited - always be concerned and get backups going

my paypal is limited but ebay is not suspended I meant. Using authorize.net for ebay transactions. So had to turn off paypal etc on ebay settings and wanted to know if ebay sees my paypal is limited will they take my ebay account down? Or separate entity..?

With such an old ebay account and the option to use another payment source besides paypal, it may work out

Try it out, and in the meantime, start building a backup account so if ebay does catch on, you'll have another account ready to go

sooner or later, they'll know that your paypal got limited. I had this issue in one of my stealth accounts, now both get suspended/limited :D

brings bit of knots in my stomach.... cause words try it out doesn't signify much easiness.. Especially the fact ebay and paypal could care less if you were with them 100 years they can just axe you . I'm sure bigger shops on ebay can have some meetings etc where they got each other's back.

I'm going total legit on my account so if ebay pulls something on me, due to paypal... Then I'm gonna find a new career. This rollercoaster ride isn't for me haahhah

Spread sales over multiple accounts. If one goes down, you've still got the rest to keep you going.

Once you use the tactic of spreading sales over multiple accounts, limitations in turn become less likely. I've been doing stealth for about 5 years, and have multiple accounts roughly as old.

Yeah same here.

Anyways op,
you can use multiple accounts separated on paypals. it will last but randomly they will get limited so don't keep the cash longer then 3 days after its released. I lost about 300$ today,because i did. Treat it like a new ebay. u can sell high risk but theres a chance it will l get limited. under 100$ per acct seems okay tho. I wouldnt rely on this ebay. i would make profit and buy a new one. thats what i im doing rn.

Also make sure to create a new listing, i noticed that a item number pops up on the paypal transaction so maby that's how they link it.

Whenever one is limited, usually the other one will follow soon or later.
I'd be careful and go with legit info on a new account if I were you.

My ebay was permanently banned in 2014, but my paypal is still doing fine. Not sure why... I currently take in 10-20k/month through it via other recent selling platforms. Hopefully it'll keep on keepin on! :surrender:

Well, you should be fine as my ebay was banned for 4 years and then paypal was in tact. Then ebay got reinstated this year but paypal banned. But also depends on what you were selling I think. I think paypal didn't get banned because of ebay being banned cause i was gone from ebay due to shipping dsr .. not due to counterfeit items.

I guess my ebay got banned for low ratings, but paypal had no idea... my business was good on their end. ??

It's a good thing that you have going on then.

I'm extremely paranoid and careful, but keep up the normal activities you have been doing and at the same time do have those back up accounts active as soon as possible just in case. If nothing happens, they will be an extra source of income on top of your current account plus they are a peace of mind security .

you from Japan? I'm from Korea hahah in my country we have high expectations of success. So i'm working doing graphics but this ebay thing is my second gig and the pressure of my country is quite high. (highest suicide rate in world, used to be Japan)
But i'm living in USA and think i can escape the pressure of my culture but I hang out with Koreans so it seems to be the same. Ok i'm going off topic but whatever. lol
