Ebay linking question.

Hi. I used to have an account at my parents house but I got banned in another address years later, I am wondering if I make another account back at my parents house, (where they both have accounts) and also change the ip address would there be any issues with their accounts if anything did go wrong with mine in the future?

Thanks

Re: Ebay linking question.

You said you used to have an account there years ago which later got in trouble. Meaning it's not recommended that you use that same address to create another account because you risk being linked to your old account.

If you aren't linked to your old account you would be linked to your parent's account(s). If your new account ever got in trouble both of your parents would also lose their ability to sell since all 3 accounts will have been linked by a common address.

Re: Ebay linking question.

About 5 years ago, I was visiting my parents who lived 3 hours away. Logged into eB/PP to print some labels. When my account eventually went down, theirs was also limited to $1500/month.

It still shows up on my restricted account as a linked account. It does have a message underneath stating "let us know if one of these account isn't yours" or something similar. But I never bothered since they'll never sell on there again.

Thank you for the reply, so the best way would be to buy the book and follow it step by step then! :)

Liverpool or Everton?

Just stirring:shhh:

eBay Uk is a complete pillock with re-use of banned addresses.
They happily but savagely kill the new accounts. They have little tolerance for the method.

Try to make you a bew you, in every area. Keep the questions coming. Here to help.

Liverpool

Ok thanks for the advice, is it best to buy the Ebay Stealth guide then and just stick by the book with that? Last thing I would want to do is get my parents suspended i'd never hear the end of it!

Right reply.
Can not use the oldies house OR computer if you want to stay inherited with them.

Stealth book is the best guide fir that reply you want at midnight. In other words, you have it at hand to go over issues and methods.
The forum backs all of this up with posts on the latest facts and info.
Once you study both, you learn stealth well.

YNWA.

Good week for a LFC fan then! :p

Ok thank you for the reply again! But just so I know because I have been told and read other things on here, I can use the parents house but obviously not their computer, ip address, actual address or anything like that? So if I stick to the methods on the Ebay Guide when I do purchase I should be fine, is that right? Obviously I know their accounts aren't banned but I will in theory be creating an account as if they are because my other banned account was using the same details as at that address.

Thanks again :)

Re: Ebay linking question.

I would not use the oldies address. (Would be like Liverpool signing Rooney, just asking for a shed load of troubles ;) )

If you are making accounts after being banned, names and addresses are part of how eBay detect and suspend again. You need new everything to do proper stealth.

Re: Ebay linking question.

Human beings like to go back to what's convenient and feel content even if it means getting into the same trouble again.

Think about it this way... you got in trouble for doing 1 thing, why would you go back and redo the same thing again?

Try to develop a mindset with what is outlined in the stealth guide and use this forum for specialized support.
