What does eBay suspension mean ?
 

Hello everybody,
I have two questions

1. One is when you say that you have been suspended on eBay, do you receive an email or something ?
i made a dummy account just to test something, and i didn't receive any warning email, however when i try to list it says i can list 0 items this month !

2. I saw that many people out there on ebay selling gaming accounts, like clash of clans account or whatever ! and social media accounts too
Is it Allowed, or risky or what's your take on this subject ??

1. That's not a suspension. That's just poor creation techniques that resulted in 0/0 selling limits. If it was a suspension you would have received an email to that effect. You still cannot use this account for selling but you can use it for buying.
2. That category of items is considered high risk - same as anything else virtual in nature.

indeed i created the account poorly with random information just to test ! so for sure that's the reason .. However i linked this stupid account to a paypal that i have ! so if i make a new proper ebay account and link it to the same paypal is there any issue with that ??

Yes i will, and i am reading the forum too ..
I am just saying since this ebay account is technically not suspended is it safe to link the same paypal to a new proper eBay account ? or this will cause problems and limitations in the future ?

Usually, when you get a 0/0 account right off (as you have experienced) it means your creation methods are flawed, or you tried to list a high risk item right off the bat.
Just as Slokor mentrioned above, it's almost certainly the case.
Back in the day, this type of restriction was known as "MC999", and it would come up at that time.

This is why it's highly recommended to read the re-read the Stealth Guide to get around these types of issues. I can assure you it will be of great help to you, and it is certainly worth the money.

It wouldn't cause any issues. It's just an account with zero limits. You could try increasing the limits on that account too.

in fact yes the reason was both, the account creation was ****ty and also i tried to list a gaming account just to test! i didn't know that this things are risky.
As i linked a real bank account to the linked paypal, it's a pity to waste this pp account.
So i will try to link it to a new clean eBay and see what happens

1. It means that you created the account wrong and they won't let you even start to sell.

2. Virtual or digital anything is considered high risk. I just consulted a friend trying to sell carry services.


You seem serious about your business, so I recommend you actually read the stealth guide first before you start anything.
