Is Establishing Dormant account Risky
 

ooops too late, I stupidly opened a linked legit 2nd Pay Pal Account.

Would leaving the second account PP just hang out there not yet connected to any EB account cause a suspension or red flags?

Go into that account and close it - itll increase your chances of success.
Go into 'settings' and youll see the 'close account' button on the bottom left.

Listen to what slokor says - you can never predict 100% what pp will do regardless since they keep all info in their system

Dallis, I may not be thinking correctly, but I call it linked because the same phone number,(s), and address are the same as another PayPal account up and operating for the last few years.

I may not have the option to close this second account as recommended above from what I can see but I'm not entirely sure.

Thank you Slokor. Im not sure I really have that option. It sounds like a simple question. I'm presently stuck with a non-stealth parameter that I'm trying to work the best "save" of a terrible snafu.

What advice would you give if I said the snafu happens to be that this second account is actually the "second personal account" . . . opened (inadvertently), using the same name, phone, address as the previous original personal account?

Oh and that this 2nd personal account is a result of cancelling yet a different business account that was in the midst of being opened, but was cancelled before the bank data was loaded and account completely activated?

The ultimate solution is open stealth accounts, which I plan on doing for my needs and possibly for my friend. However currently, the friend doesn't have the means or available time frame necessary to open a stealth account. However I am inspired by this cite to venture into this new world.

Thank you rsot. Yes - this makes me very fearful since I have really fouled up deluxe. Wish I knewtt of stealth before now. Definitely my future by choice if not by default?

So - what advise would you provide if you are following this thread? I think I understand correctly that all my activity has been definitely "linked" as all activity has been done with the only phone I have available? Same address was provided and same names have been used.  "Several" calls made on the latter two accounts and references made to each.

How hot are my PP red flags and how best to cool them off?
* original buyer account is over 350 rating that is 4-5 yrs old

. within this last month initiated activity for two more accounts

* opened & had them cancel a bsn acct before confirming bank dep
opening the second personal account, dormant- no activity

With my OP, I had thought leaving this 2nd personal acct lie dormant a bit due to all the account status activity that it would cool down their internal flags.

Would posting selling activity for the first time on the original 5 yo account be questionable in & of itself.

it all may be more simple than my fear. Only have this 1more chance for the second account. Dont want to cause further complications or for the final' new account to be under watchdog . .as Im sure the accounts are.
