Is it safe to use auction listing software like "garagesale"..etc.. ?

in the past I have used garagesale (GarageSale Homepage)

I was just wondering if it’s too risky to use now. I mean I have uninstalled it and installed a fresh version, so all my previous details from old accounts are gone. But is it not a good idea? Can ebay trace this back to other accounts?

The good thing is, that with garagesale you don’t have to log into your ebay account via ebay.com, to list each auction. The listing software automatically uploads your listing to your account. So in that regard, it’s good because ebay can’t trace your ip address via your ebay logins.
