Complicated ebay suspension questions regarding IP tracking
 

Hey guys,
I wanted to ask a question that i think is simple in nature but complicated to explain.
I had 2 ebay accounts suspended about 1 month ago, they were tied together so if one went down the other went with it.
After the suspension i opened a brand new fresh third account, which we havent used much because the limits are so low. Let's call this Account #3.

We are planning to buy a new main account and make all the major changes needed. Let's call that one Account #4.

We've logged into #3 with the same IPs that were tied to the original #1 and #2 that were suspended, but ebay has not suspended #3 yet.

When we get #4 up and running we'll be changing our IP before using it, so #3 will then be on the newly changed IPs as well.

Can ebay go into their system and say "ok #3 was at one point on the same IP as the suspended #1 and #2, then we see it switched to this new IP that is on the same IP as #4, so we are going to suspend #3 AND #4 now" ??

Ip itself will not link the account other details has to be totally different and you should be ok

After manual review if they see same item this can also cause issue

editing this post. At first read i thought iamlmfao was saying that the IPs will link and i cant do that, but now i think he's just making a comment that doesnt help.

I think 3 is already linked to 2&1. If you start using the same IP 3 uses, even if it's changed, with 4, and there's any other nexus of linkage, they're going to figure it out. They're not entirely stupid.

You need to cycle your IP's so this doesn't happen.

what am i not understanding?

1 & 2 are suspended/banned watever correct? both used same IP

3 used 1 & 2's IP....bro if im right then its toast im not being mean im just saying...

Yep, 3 is finished, sooner or later. If he tries to use 4 on the same IP they are going to be buzzards circling waiting to finish off the corpse.

I would just let acct#3 sit idle while you build acct#4. Then just add more stealth accts to the new IP. I have 2 accts running off same IP for months, almost everyone in neighbor hood have the same ip from cable company, well at least the two next door neighbors do.

Okay, I'll make it really simple for you, grab a note pad and record all IPs used per account and NEVER cross them with each other.

It's true that IP alone may not be enough, BUT you do this with your accounts I guarantee you... when one goes down, most if not all will.

So stop complicating things and do what the ebay stealth tells you to do and be disciplined about it. Trust me, it'll pay off.
