Bank account/ credit card
 

Just been reading the forums, seems like all I have been doing lately but I'm getting there :)

I have just read a thread regarding paypl, bank accounts and prepaid credit cards or vccs. If I am readig this correctly, if I attach a bank account to paypal, I dont actually have to use a vcc or prepaid credit card or gift card also do I?

Bank account is used to VERIFY the pp account.

Credit card is used to CONFIRM the pp account.

Both steps increase the security of the PP account and both are kind of independent of each other.

Thank you. But I could for instance set an account up later and then add a card at a later date?

I'd do both immediately to finalize the account if I were you.

Correct, but same bank account will have a debit and bank account, both of which you can add on PayPal

Thank you. Does this mean I don't need the credit card and can just use the debit card in place of the credit card?
