what u can do when ebay require for verify your phone number?
 

i open a few new account with different ⊗⊗⊗⊗ phone number . after i list one item, ebay removed my list and sent me message that they need to verify my phone number. they want to call me and leave me a four digital code. after i put the code then my account got unblocked. my question is how can i get the reall phone number for differnt account. pls help me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I just reg'd at amazon and they did the same thing, but since it is my first time with them I gave them my real info.
The stuff I'm putting up there shouldn't present a problem and the cheapest listed price is still quite a bit more than EB. Seems like they do charge more, but after it sells.

why not use an inbound number from Skype - internet calls - download Skype free now - free calls - official website ?

Isn't skype affiliated with EB and/or PP? I 'm not sure, but maybe I have seen their logos all in the same places.

not at all. i use different skype numbers for every paypal account and got the confirmations alright.

umm yeh skype is owned by ebay u can get free voicemail numbers pm me for the link :)

I use privatephone.com It's free and you can set up a voicemail so that when eBay sends the PIN number for to verify, it will record it for you. You can then access it by checking your voicemail by phone or just logging in and playing it thru your PC.

When I reg'd with Amazon they gave me a PIN and they called my phone and a recording was played that requested that I enter the PIN...kind of the opposite it seems as what EB is doing

Privatephone is what I've been using but I also use GrandCentral: The New Way to Use Your Phones which I believe Google just bought up. though grand central had a shortage of numbers just before they wre bought up. Maybe it's better now.

I am thinking that in addition to email addys, CC (or GC's) and postal addresses that it would now be prudent to get one of these "virtual" phone #'s.

I've never been asked for a phone # when registering EB.

I called up my friend, did the registration while I was on the phone with then ebay beeped in and gave her the 4 digit number and she clicked over and gave it to me. Worked perfectly.
