Back From A 5 Day Suspension Now Downgraded
 

I am in total shock that my account restriction has been lifted after a 5 day suspension. I never expected to get it back because they sent me a message saying I was associated with an account that went bad. They have now downgraded me from 300 /10000 to 110/1500 per month. I can live with this but im wondering is it just a slap on the wrist or am I to think a suspension might come again in the future ? I am wondering if anyone has had the same experience and what was the outcome ?

howd u get the restriction lifted?
howd they link you to another acct?
howd u get them to believe you werent linked to the acct?

if they lifted the limit for you then you should be good to go no worries :spy:

It was just automatically lifted I didn't even call them...strange
And my ip address linked me I guess...ugh
So fingers crossed im ok now :cheer:

I was helping her do her listings from the uk without stealth or ip changer on my uk account shes in the usa I think they must have thought we were being dodgy , but shes back now but they havant said anything too me nore suspended me too , we are man and wife so I don't think its bad helping my wife when shes had a back operation and needs help sometimes with her listings .

May have been an auto linking to the rep mis-categorized the error?
Who knows.

Id treat it as it could go down at any moment and make more right away.

Either way, its on ebays radar and any slight infraction could lead to total suspension.
Use it, but be prepared to lose it.

Get multiple accounts going OP - don't rely on this compromised account 100%

No, of course it's not a bad thing. It's just that accessing her account from a different location could and usually triggers something and could lead to them trying to make sure that it's her.

Just like credit cards, if it's used in a weird area or has a different frequency, they block it and call you.

SO perhaps trying to use a VPN with the same IP or remotely access her computer from yours would be better.

I wouldn't be doing anything remotely risky with the account right now.
