Different Name and Surname on eBay & PP

Is it possible to have a different name and surname on your eBay and PP account? For example, eBay account registered as Joe Smith and the PP account registered as Tom Salt.

Would you then be able to link them together from eBay when you're linking the PP account or will there be any limitations? Do you think it's possible?
