Suspended for...
 

My ebay account was suspended a week ago and they sent me this notice: "We've noted several concerns with your recent activity."
I think It happened because I was using a VPN to logged into. I was able to sell about 3 or 4 days and after it got suspended (One day before this I changed the e-mail). This account was registered using my real IP but I stopped using this account because I had some problems with it. Then few months later I decided to use this VPN and received that beautiful message from ebay.
But I'm not totally sure if it was this VPN or the item that I was selling itself (Digital Item)
I have another account (which is new) selling the same item and never got banned and even logging into this account using VPS! Worth to say It's a static IP.
Can you tell me what was the mistake I did? Change the e-mail while using the VPN? or both?
Now I've made a new US Ebay account and I'm looking for a VCC to start selling again because they ask for "automatic payment method". Please recommend me some which actually works (I had 1 or 2 accounts banned because the VCC!)

1. How's your account made? Did you follow the steps on the eBay stealth?

2. Which VPN did you use?

3. Digital goods = risky. So this could be one reason why.

4. Automatic payment method you can just use your paypal account. Which is what I use. Then use the VCC to confirm the Paypal account itself.

1. Like any. It was my personal account. I didn't use any Proxy or VPN while made. Got suspended after I used ExpressVPN to logged into and yes it was the same country as my real IP. Probably another account was suspended by using this "VPN".

2. ExpressVPN but I think it doesn't matter. I know all VPNs are risky since anyone can connect to it. I didn't want to waste more money on residential proxies.

3. I don't think so. As I said I have a new account selling the same item and until now no problem. Only the items limit is.

4. Paypal doesn't work with new ebay account or viceversa. When you want to set up the automatic payment method using a recently verified Paypal, ebay just shows "We can't process at this time" message or something like that. And it's not a bug, it always happen with new paypal accounts. Some people say have to wait one or two week to try again but I want to sell NOW! :bounce:

You should think so, digital items aren't allowed and that's why you got suspended and ExpressVPN, really man? A public VPN that everyone uses? That's also a reason why.

It's a paid VPN so :nono::nono: In other words, you have to pay to get access.
I have to discard "digital items aren't allowed" since I was selling this type of items long before this happened.
But you are right in some way, everyone can pau for this VPN and connect to the IP I was using.
I think my bad move was changed e-mail while using a VPN and start selling. I wouldn't want to ebay linked my main account to this one so I went for cheap.

Combination of things it looks like. Digital items, created and suspended on regular IP then switching ip AND changing email address. Yeah, that's a recipe for disaster.

For the record I've used 4 accounts on expressVPN and all 4 are still in great standing. However my main 3 are on ip burger simply because I dont want to track ips
