For a chinese bank account I'm not sure what you need to open one. For a US bank account, you need a social security number...

You may want to use an alternative to Paypal. ie. merchant account

What exactly makes it so difficult to open a bank account in China? You just need your ID-card, right??

wtf? in some Countries it's harder to get a bank than it is the internet, comparing the two is dumb. LOL You need proper id here, if you don't have at least one pic id they won't open one for you. Not everyone has a passport of drivers licence, it sucks. All you need for the internet is phone/cable line, a home address and money.

中国客户如何开立美国帐户?

Need The china passport with American visa , American fixed residence address, social security number and open a bank account in any US bank location.
只能携带带有美国签证的护照,美国固定住所证明和安全保障号到各银行去开户。
