Trademark Violation Sweep
 

So yesterday Ebay did a sweep of trademark violations. So I had 3 TM items and 40 non TM items listed, so they take down the 3 and 27 others that were not TM and suspended me for 7 days. So the message said the following items were taken down and listed the 3 TMs. Nothing about the other 27 except when you go to unsold it says (taken down by Ebay see messages). Some were just generic items and others were similar items to items they left up? makes no sense. I have 4 ebay accts and lost listing on 3 with only one 7 day suspension so I guess I am lucky there, but had $300 worth of bids that I lost with 3 days left on listing. That is a bummer.

I haven't had any listings TM'd in a long time so I don't think eBay themselves did a sweep, though it could be possible. More likely whoever owns the trademark you are infringing had your listings removed.

But how did he have 27 other none tm items delisted? has nothing to do with his trademark?

What did the takedown notice say the violation was for those 27?

I've had listings for generic items removed in the past for "design mark violation" but that only happens when other listings go down at the same time for trademark violation. It's like whoever is doing the reporting gets mad and starts making stuff up to report you for.

I think you are right, they were items in the same category but not trademarked, the said part is I had about $300 worth of bids on 8 items that now are gone, I KNEW I should have listed for 3 days instead of 7, just me being a dumba$$.

It sounds like someone is targeting you and the rest non TM are collateral.

And yes... I always have the 3 day rule. It doesn't make sense to do 7 days honestly.

Now for the solution, do you think you can reach out to eBay and present them some docs ?

Nope, the trademark holder does not allow anyone to sell their merchandise.
