US EBay account use in other country
 

Just got suspended and my friend in USA can register a new ebay account for me with his name and address phone number etc ( all real )but this account is manage by me which located in Hong Kong. what should i take care of? will ebay suspend me because i use US account in Hong Kong? anything i can do to avoid being noticed by ebay system? thanks guys ;)

You can try using a VPN service, but I don't think ebay really likes those. Not sure if they work or not.

You can use it no problem overseas. Just the first time you log in, be ready for your friend to do phone verification

Be careful of paypal if it is used with the account.:peace:

name/address must be same on both ebay and paypal accounts. Just remember that.

one thing: so the ebay and paypal acc should use whos name? my wife name (in hong kong) or my friends name (in US) ?

asking this because if use my wife name but she is not live in US. if ebay or paypal ask for our address proof etc. it will be a problem.

They have to match. If your friend has all his exact info. in ebay then you have to duplicate that in paypal... Banking info. is another story...Please do your research in the forum

make sure you delete all cookies, make new windows login, etc.

also if you want to use your friend's information in the US. i would suggest this....tell him to dedicate a laptop or desktop for you with high speed internet. use logmein to log onto his computer in the usa. therefore ebay/paypal will see usa ip address.

poeple say you have to be careful when using vpn because ebay does not like that. i personally have not used one...

I went to another country earlier this year, logged in (just one time) one of my accounts which was registered back in 2005, did nothing except browsing USA eBay site a little bit. then after I came back, noticed eBay flagged it & reset the password.
