Question about returned items Paypal

My account was just suspended by paypal and ebay go figure so he wants to return the item. The problem is the address on the paypal page he should send the item back to is ⊗⊗⊗⊗. What will happen when I click provide refund and ship back to buyer. The package will probably get marked as undeliverable because it is a ⊗⊗⊗⊗ address. What do they do?

What does who do? You mean the buyer? You can issue an RMA number with an address where your items are 'processed' for return. Issue a refund when item arrives or at least have them send you a photo of the mailing label showing the tracking number. If the tracking number shows up online and in motion, give refund.

Personally, I'd explain to the buyer about the suspension and state that the item they bought is not an issue. Make them comfortable about keeping it.

And next round with the stealth account have access to the address. Stops all sorts of troubles. :peace:

No my question is that a buyer has claimed a item not as descrbed and paypal has issued them to send it back to me. I have tried emailing the buyer to ship it to another address but they are going to ship to the ⊗⊗⊗⊗ address on the paypal account. What will happen when they mail it? It will probably get returned to them and what will paypal do?

Paypal will get suspicious of the mis-delivery conflict with the address on file. They will refund the buyer and very likely freeze your account and give you the 180 day kiss-off.

Not a sure thing, but most likely. If you've got funds in there, move them out. Don't close the bank account. You may need it in 6 months to get your loot.

I've done this in the past and it's worked out well for me most times. Be honest and upfront with your customers, they'll appreciate you for it. You can't please everyone however I've always found the old saying to hold true, honesty is the best policy. Even as corny as it may sound.
