EB wants docs
 

10yr old stealth account, 3000 perfect fb, haven't used it in a couple years, listed an item, got the 'Unauthorized use of your account -- action required', called in, got reinstated, sold two items, shipped em, relisted two days later and got the dreaded NARU. Now they want:

-- A copy of the front and back of your driver's license or other government-issued identification, and

-- A recent credit card statement or utility bill that shows your billing address. (You can black out your account numbers.)


Any help is appreciated -- you can pm me.

Since this account hasn't been used in a couple years, it's treated mainly as a new account despite it's long age and FB.

What type of item did you list? Sounds like eBay really didn't like whatever it was.

Sounds to me like they thought your account was taken over by somebody else. Either that, or you made them uncomfortable with the sudden spike in sales when there'd been none for years.

I'm leaning towards the former, but I unno. If you haven't used this account in years you probably didn't have any relevant cookies stored in a browser, right? Were you logging in from the same IP address and browser as you've always used on this 10yr old account?

yea, told em new computer and phone. they said ok, then, after a couple sales, went to relist, and NARU. I sold a couple brand new PS4 games.

when eby asks for docs its BAD NEWS.

In this case id try n give them what they want since your account is so established but dont expect to be reinstated.
