family members account got suspended!
 

hey guys, i got my account suspended, and tried using my brothers information to open a new account, next thing you know they linked that new account to my suspended account. now my brother account is suspended! is there any way to get my brothers account back. so he can use it. i feel bad. thanks :doh:

prob ip/cookies or flash got shared, you can just email ebay with info of your brothers address etc different to your and tell them what happened and he shouldnt be penalized and be v apologetic and polite, thats all you can do, they will either say yes or no, depends on ebay person (sorry monkey) who deals with it..

decaldepot, don't worry, your situation is not that serious. Are you looking for a long term sell on eBay? Or just wanna get your current accounts reinstated?

you need setup win or create new uses for new account

The same thing happened to me. I called and sent email and plead with them with no luck. They said I would have to clear up any issues with my account before they would reinstate any linked accounts. That being my wife's account. Your best bet is to set him up with a stealth account if he doesn't know how to do it himself.

Just read ebay stealth

linked accounts are hard to clear. they consider you have "repeated violations". ebay would rather to kill 100 as long as one of them is a bad guy.
