New account questions

I got suspended but can create an account with a family member's information. I know I need a new ebay account and a new paypal account which will link to a bank account that the previous pp account did not link to. However, I have a question regarding wifi. I usually use a laptop at home and a desktop at work to post. Also the app, but that's not important to me. I am getting a new computer at work - so that should take care of the IP issue, right? At home, I am planning on getting a new IP through IP Burger - am I missing anything here?

Thank you!!

Re: New account questions

A new computer does not equate to a new IP.

My recommendation would be to bring your laptop with you and keep using the IPburger VPN.

If that desktop is yours, use IPburger on it too to remain consistent.

Thank you! I would be able to use IPburger on 2 stations? (laptop and desktop)?

change the mac address on your router, and it will change the IP address you're getting. No need for VPN or to take laptop with you. I've been doing this for years. I also wouldn't recommend using family members information.

Why bother? Just do stealth/

I guess my concern with stealth vs a family member is if Paypal requests identifying information.

If you're selling enough, to require SSN, then are you sure you want your family involved, and them having to deal with the IRS on your behalf?

I've heard that PP asks for verification prior to hitting the limits. I'm not planning on hitting the limits.

How much are you planning on selling exactly?

Not a lot - just things around the house. Will be lucky to hit 5k a year.
