Using family member's eBay account with dedicated ip. Good idea?

I have family member who has an ebay account but hasn't used it for years. I'm thinking of buying a dedicated IP from ipburger so that I can use his eBay from my residence. My question is would it be an issue if the dedicated IP is from a different part of the US compared to where he's at?

Any ideas if I will need to build some history before listing anything with it? It has been used in the past. Just not lately.

Yea, I've got a banned eBay account with my current IP and dedicated IP I have. I plan on getting another one for the family eBay account.

I don't have a dedicated IP. I change the mac address on my router, and I'm given a different IP address. And they never overlap between my 4 accounts.

does your family member know what could happen if you use his Ebay ID to sell on Ebay?
You would need a Paypal account which is not linked to your banned Ebay account.
