Hi,

I was wondering, can I use my real name to start a new ebay and paypal account if everything else is brand new and never used before?

I would suggest a variation of your real name to be on the safe side.

Better not unless both your first and last name are very popular ones. You can also consider to use a nick name.

If the name is not really unusual and everything else including city is different I don't see how this alone would be a problem. If it was they'd be banning everyone that had the same or similar name.
Is your name John Smith by chance?
