| | | | | Michael888 | 09-26-2019 03:36 AM | is there a minimum limit for starting price? Hi guys, thanks to this forums, I got my first stealth account. I sell very slowly, all are used, unbrand, low risk items. My first auction starting price $0.09, my second auction starting price $0.1, both are sold. I received two positive feedbacks. When I try to list the third item, starting price $0.49, I got red warning on the top of listing page:
------------------------------------------------------
It looks like you're attempting to list an item that we have found is commonly used to falsely inflate Feedback scores or detailed seller ratings, which violates our performance manipulation policy. This activity creates unfairness amongst sellers and decreases trust in the marketplace.
-------------------------------------------------------
My question is: Does that mean I can't list the item (idle paper clips) any more, even though I increase the starting price to $3 for example? It seems eBay don't like too low starting price auction, so is there a minimum limit? Thanks in advance :ballchain: |
Re: is there a minimum limit for starting price? There's no minimum limit. Looks like that specific item is 'blacklisted' or as they say commonly used to falsely inflate Feedback scores or detailed seller ratings
And yes you should stay away from that item from now, and NO, even if you increase the pricing, it's still can be risky to your account.
Find other items to sell.
Goodluck on this. |

But I'm kinda disappointed, as after I read about 'used unbrand low price', I finally find the paper clips to start, but it turns out to be something 'blacklisted'. I got confused. Any advice about 'items for new account' would be very appreciated. |

That will help |
| agent006140 | 09-27-2019 07:06 AM | Re: is there a minimum limit for starting price? you can start an auction at 99 cents and see how the bidding goes.
if you get only one bid,you will have to sell the item at 99 cents.
It can be grocery coupons, sample toothbrush from your dentist office, box of chocolate unopen you dont want to eat, souvenir keychains, ashtray,Mardi Gras/casino tokens, etc. |

-------------------------------------------------------
After reviewing your eBay account, recent activity has raised serious security concerns. As a result, we've taken the following action on your account:
- Your eBay account has been suspended indefinitely.
- Item listings have been removed. A list of removed items is available further down in this email.
You won't be able to use eBay in any way. This includes using another existing account or registering a new account. Any outstanding selling fees are due immediately, and any amounts that you haven't previously disputed will be charged to the billing method currently on file.
We've taken this precaution to protect our members while we make sure that the activity doesn't cause harm -- however unintentionally -- to the eBay community.

Should I call eBay? Any advice would be very appreciated. Thanks! |

Right now its kinda crazy in terms of stealth accounts because of safety reasons-and such, and most of all, its Q4.The velocity of sales goes through the roof
