Indefinite Suspensions
 

Have anyone had some luck recently with overturning and removing a indefinite suspension. If this means no matter what I call them and say they already made there mind up and there's nothing I can do than I wouldn't even want to call and waste my time. But it would be nice knowing that not all indefinite suspensions are indefinite.

haha not ALL. maybe a fraction of a % gets back. It all depends on why the suspension.

some suspension are abel to appeal by contacting ebay. usually new accounts but sometimes even 7-8 month old accounts.
You have to answer few stupid questons and then they decide if they restore it. If they say no, then the account is toast without any way to restore it.

I know a lady who has been suspended,reinstated,suspended,reinstated and suspended again.
She stood outside Ebay building every weekday with a sign and they finally reinstated her account.
What did she do wrong?
selling silver jewelry starting auction style 99 cents and most ended up much higher so she made money.
As more sellers caught on ,more and more of her items ended 99 cents .
Then she has to list more and hopefully she will make a profit based on volume,then she raised her shipping for a small item to $6 and refused to combine shipping.
She also lost control,reusing her photos,missplacing her items or just simply out of stock,she lost her temper and was very rude to her buyers.
Then she allowed her mother to sell with one of her account on her death bed(her mother before dying,realise how hard she has to work to make a living and wished she could leave her more money).
She received many negs and INR,INAD.
Finally Ebay said enough is enough,no more reinstatement.
But she did get reinstated,there is a happy ending,she found a job in IT and ditched selling on internet.

I just google her seller ID,she is still selling on AMZN using FBA,but not Ebay,so duno if she is banned again>
Anyway she has retired and chatting daily on a forum.

whats the age of the account? how many items did you list/sell?

Account was nearly 2 months ago, no negative feedback or disputes, 100% positive feedback. Account was made properly with dedicated IP, seperate user profile, proper "Info", verified paypal, etc. Out the blue I got the indefinite suspension which doesn't explain why. Below is what was sent to me.

After reviewing your eBay account, recent activity has raised serious security concerns. As a result, we've taken the following action on your account:
- Your eBay account has been suspended indefinitely.
- Item listings have been removed. A list of removed items is available further down in this email.

You won't be able to use eBay in any way. This includes using another existing account or registering a new account. Any outstanding selling fees are due immediately, and any amounts that you haven't previously disputed will be charged to the billing method currently on file.

I just called them up they said indefinite suspension, wouldnt go into details but said the back team noticed alarming discrepancies. I don't know what the hell that means. I tried to get elaborations but could not.

I just got an account back that was 3+ years old. It was 100% "indefinite". :rolleyes:
